The Rotary File Cabinet Adder Unit, designed for legal-sized files, features 8 shelves and comes in light gray. This innovative rotary file cabinet is engineered to optimize time, space, and resource efficiency by providing a dual-sided rotating shelf that accommodates over twice the files compared to conventional filing systems while ensuring quick access to stored materials. The specifications include an EZ2® base constructed from robust 13 gauge steel with U-channel reinforcements that have a 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep cross-section, providing a sturdy framework for the cabinet's weight. Each corner is fortified with an 11 gauge steel gusset for enhanced stability, and the adjustable leveling feet facilitate even leveling from above. The indexing mechanism allows for 90° rotation without requiring a foot pedal. The unit's uprights consist of four 11 gauge steel posts with dual durometer PVC closing strips, securely bolted to the base with 1/4" - 20 flat head bolts. A secure lock assembly, including a lock bar made from durable 3/8" diameter steel rod, is positioned conveniently on the right front post, allowing for easy locking in both open and closed positions.
