The Rotary File Cabinet Starter Unit is designed for legal-size files and features seven shelves in a bone white finish. This innovative unit utilizes a double-sided, rotating shelf system that effectively accommodates more than twice the number of files compared to traditional filing solutions while ensuring quick and easy access to stored materials. Its specifications include the EZ2® base, constructed from 13 gauge steel with reinforced U-channel designs, each measuring 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep; this robust base supports the entire structure and features 90° indexing without the need for a foot pedal. The unit comprises four upright posts made from 11 gauge steel, equipped with dual durometer PVC closing strips, and is bolted for added strength. A lock assembly with a locking rod is conveniently positioned on the right front post, utilizing a durable lock bar made from 3/8" diameter steel rod and allowing for field-removable cores. The rotary bottom is supported by hardened steel ball bearings, with the letter-size version featuring a 19-1/4" diameter bearing cage containing 22 ball bearings, while the legal-size unit boasts a 24" diameter cage with 44 ball bearings.
