The EZ2® base is constructed from 13 gauge steel, featuring 13 gauge steel formed U-channel reinforcements that have a cross section of 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep, extending the full length and width of the base. To enhance structural integrity, each corner is supported by a welded steel 11 gauge gusset, providing additional strength and rigidity. The base mechanism is designed for 90° indexing of the rotary file cabinet, and each EZ2® unit includes (4) upright posts equipped with dual durometer PVC closing strips. Please note that this description pertains solely to the cabinet base, with shelving and drawers being sold separately.
