The EZ2® base is constructed from 13 gauge steel and features 13 gauge steel formed U-channel reinforcements, measuring 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep in cross section, which extend the full length and width of the base. Each corner is fortified with a welded steel 11 gauge gusset, enhancing the strength and rigidity of the overall structure. The base mechanism allows for 90° indexing of the rotary file cabinet, while each EZ2® unit includes (4) upright posts equipped with dual durometer PVC closing strips. The kit consists solely of the cabinet base, with shelving and drawers available for separate purchase.
