The EZ2® base is constructed from 13 gauge steel featuring 13 gauge steel formed U-channel reinforcements, which have a cross section measuring 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep and extend the entire length and width of the base. To enhance strength and rigidity, each corner is reinforced with a welded steel 11 gauge gusset. The base mechanism allows for 90° indexing of the rotary file cabinet, and each EZ2® unit is equipped with (4) upright posts that include dual durometer PVC closing strips. Please note that this description pertains to the cabinet base only, as shelving and drawers are sold separately.
