The EZ2® base is constructed from 13 gauge steel, featuring 13 gauge steel formed U-channel reinforcements, which have a cross section measuring 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep, running the full length and width of the base. Each corner is reinforced with a welded steel 11 gauge gusset, enhancing the strength and rigidity of the base. The base mechanism allows for 90° indexing of the rotary file cabinet. Each EZ2® unit includes (4) upright posts and dual durometer PVC closing strips. It is important to note that the cabinet base is sold separately, while shelving and drawers are also available for purchase.
