The Rotary File Cabinet Adder Unit is designed for efficient storage and organization, featuring a letter-size configuration with 7 shelves in a light gray finish. This innovative rotary file offers a double-sided rotating shelf unit that maximizes file capacity while minimizing space requirements, allowing for quick and convenient access to documents. The EZ2® base is constructed from 13 gauge steel, reinforced with U-channel supports that have a cross-section of 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep. This robust base, MIG welded for rigidity, also features welded 11 gauge gussets at each corner for added strength, and comes with four adjustable leveling feet. The cabinet utilizes a 90° indexing mechanism that operates without a foot pedal. Each unit includes four upright posts made of 11 gauge steel, bolted to the base, with dual durometer PVC closing strips. A lock assembly with a 3/8" diameter steel rod lock bar is conveniently located on the front right post, allowing for random-keying and easy key changes as well as locking in both open and closed positions. The rotary bottom is supported on the base by 5/8" diameter hardened steel ball bearings, with the letter size unit featuring a 19-1/4" diameter bearing cage containing 22 ball bearings. The unit is designed for durability and practicality, making it a robust option for any filing needs.
