The EZ2® base is constructed from 13 gauge steel and features 13 gauge steel formed U-channel reinforcements measuring 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep, which extend the full length and width of the base. Each corner is fortified with a welded steel 11 gauge gusset for added strength and rigidity. The base mechanism allows for 90° indexing of the rotary file cabinet, and each EZ2® unit includes (4) upright posts equipped with dual durometer PVC closing strips. Please note that the kit includes the cabinet base only, while shelving and drawers are sold separately.
