This heavy-duty drill kit is designed for drilling in tough, high-tensile, and work-hardening materials under extreme operating conditions, and it is manufactured from premium cobalt high-speed steel, which increases hot hardness and extends drill wear life. The kit features a 135° P3 split point that is self-centering, reducing thrust and facilitating easier penetration; however, sizes smaller than .0625" do not have a split point. The metric sizes adhere to DIN 338 overall length (OAL) and flute length specifications. Additionally, the TiN (titanium nitride) coating provides enhanced lubricity and hardness, improving chip flow, finish hole quality, and drill life. This kit is optimal for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, and alloy steel. The product is made in the USA and comes in a pack of 12, with a 30-day warranty.
