It includes a 135° P3 split point that is self-centering, which reduces thrust and allows for easier penetration; however, sizes smaller than .0625" do not have the split point. The black oxide surface finish enhances wear resistance and adds lubricity, thereby improving chip flow. This kit is ideal for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and cast iron.
