It is manufactured from premium cobalt high-speed steel, which increases hot hardness and extends drill wear life. The 135° P3 split point is self-centering, providing reduced thrust and easier penetration, though sizes smaller than .0625" do not feature a split point. Metric sizes are manufactured to DIN 338 overall length (OAL) and flute length specifications. The TiN (titanium nitride) coating enhances lubricity and hardness, improving chip flow, finish hole quality, and drill life. This drill kit is suitable for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, and alloy steel. It is made in the USA and comes in a pack of 12, with a 30-day warranty.
