It is manufactured from cobalt high-speed steel, which increases hot hardness and extends drill wear life. The 135° P3 split point design is self-centering, facilitating reduced thrust and easier penetration, although sizes smaller than .0625" do not have a split point. The metric sizes comply with DIN 338 OAL and flute length specifications. A straw finish enhances lubricity and allows for easy identification of cobalt drills, making them suitable for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and titanium. This product is made in the USA and comes in a pack of 12, with a 30-day warranty.
