The heavy-duty construction of this drill kit is designed for drilling in tough, high-tensile, and work-hardening materials under extreme operating conditions. The drills are manufactured from cobalt high-speed steel, which increases hot hardness and extends drill wear life. Featuring a 135° P3 split point, these drills are self-centering, allowing for reduced thrust and easier penetration, although sizes smaller than .0625" do not have a split point. The metric sizes conform to DIN 338 OAL and flute length specifications. With a straw finish, the drills offer added lubricity and are easily identifiable as cobalt drills, making them suitable for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and titanium. The kit comes in a pack of 12 and is made in the USA, accompanied by a 30-day warranty.
