The 135° P3 split point design is self-centering, allowing for reduced thrust and easier penetration, though sizes smaller than .0625" do not have a split point. Metric sizes comply with DIN 338 OAL and flute length specifications. The straw finish not only adds lubricity but also provides easy identification of cobalt drills.
