It is manufactured from cobalt high-speed steel, which enhances hot hardness and extends drill wear life. The 135° P3 split point is self-centering, allowing for reduced thrust and easier penetration, although sizes smaller than .0625" do not feature a split point. The metric sizes comply with DIN 338 OAL and flute length specifications, while the straw finish adds lubricity and facilitates easy identification of cobalt drills. This kit is suitable for drilling in materials such as stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and titanium. Made in the USA, the kit includes a pack of 12 drills and comes with a 30-day warranty.
