Each drill bit is manufactured from cobalt high-speed steel, which increases hot hardness and extends drill wear life. The 135° P3 split point design is self-centering, allowing for reduced thrust and easier penetration, while sizes smaller than .0625" do not feature a split point. The metric sizes conform to DIN 338 OAL and flute length specifications, and the straw finish enhances lubricity while providing easy identification of cobalt drills.
