This heavy-duty drilling kit is designed for use in tough, high-tensile, and work-hardening materials under extreme operating conditions. The drill bits are manufactured from cobalt high-speed steel, which enhances hot hardness and extends drill wear life. The 135° P3 split point is self-centering, which results in reduced thrust and easier penetration; however, sizes smaller than .0625" do not feature a split point. Metric sizes comply with DIN 338 standards for overall length (OAL) and flute length specifications. The straw finish of the drill bits adds lubricity and allows for easy identification of cobalt drills. This kit is ideal for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and titanium.
