Each drill bit is manufactured from cobalt high-speed steel, enhancing hot hardness and significantly extending the wear life of the drill. The kit features a 135° P3 split point that is self-centering, allowing for reduced thrust and easier penetration, although sizes smaller than .0625" do not include a split point. The metric sizes conform to DIN 338 overall length and flute length specifications. A straw finish on each drill enhances lubricity and facilitates easy identification of cobalt drills. This set is ideal for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and titanium. The package includes a total of 12 drill bits, and it comes with a 30-day warranty.
