The drills feature an aerospace-style 135° split point that is self-centering, thereby reducing walking, and provide faster penetration rates compared to conventional heavy-duty jobber drills. Finished with a bright coating, they are suitable for drilling in low carbon steel, soft alloy steel, non-ferrous materials, and aluminum, with TiCN as a modification.
