It features a 135° P3 split point that is self-centering, allowing for reduced thrust and easier penetration, although sizes smaller than .0625" do not have the split point feature. The shanks on sizes 3/16" and larger are equipped with three flats for tighter chucking. The black and gold oxide surface finish enhances wear resistance and adds lubricity, which improves chip flow. This kit is suitable for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and cast iron. The product is made in the USA and comes in a pack of 12, accompanied by a 30-day warranty.
