The heavy-duty construction of this drilling kit is designed for use in tougher materials and is manufactured from high-speed steel. It features a 135° P3 split point that is self-centering, which reduces thrust and allows for easier penetration; however, sizes smaller than .0625" do not have a split point. For sizes 3/16" and larger, the drill bits include three flats on the shanks for tighter chucking. The black and gold oxide surface finish enhances wear resistance and adds lubricity, which improves chip flow. This kit is ideal for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and cast iron. The package includes a total of 12 drill bits and is made in the USA. It comes with a 30-day warranty.
