The heavy-duty construction of this drill bit kit is designed for drilling in tougher materials and is manufactured from high-speed steel. It features a 135° P3 split point that is self-centering, providing reduced thrust and easier penetration, although sizes smaller than .0625" do not have a split point. Additionally, three flats on the shanks for sizes 3/16" and larger ensure tighter chucking. The black and gold oxide surface finish enhances wear resistance and adds lubricity, thereby improving chip flow. This kit is suitable for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and cast iron. It is made in the USA and includes a pack of 12 drill bits. The product comes with a 30-day warranty.
