The drilling kit features heavy-duty construction, designed for use in tougher materials and manufactured from high-speed steel. It includes a 135° P3 split point that is self-centering, ensuring reduced thrust and easier penetration; however, sizes smaller than .0625" do not include a split point. The shanks on sizes 3/16" and larger have three flats for tighter chucking. The bits have a black and gold oxide surface finish that enhances wear resistance and adds lubricity, thereby improving chip flow. This kit is suitable for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and cast iron. It is made in the USA and comes in a pack of 12, with a 30-day warranty.
