The heavy-duty construction drill kit is designed for drilling in tougher materials and is manufactured from high-speed steel. It features a 135° P3 split point that is self-centering, providing reduced thrust and easier penetration; however, sizes smaller than .0625" do not have a split point. For sizes 3/16" and larger, the drill bits come with three flats on the shanks to ensure tighter chucking. The black and gold oxide surface finish enhances wear resistance and adds lubricity, which improves chip flow. This kit is suitable for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and cast iron. It is made in the USA and is available in a pack of 12, accompanied by a 30-day warranty.
