The general purpose geometry of this drill is designed for drilling a wide range of operating conditions and materials, featuring a taper shank made to American National Standard (Morse). Manufactured from high-speed steel, it is ideal for portable drilling and maintenance applications. The drill has a 118° radial point and is finished with black oxide to extend wear life while reducing chip welding and galling. Oversize and undersize shanks are available in selected sizes, making it suitable for drilling in carbon steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and cast iron.
