This kit features heavy-duty construction designed for drilling in tougher materials, manufactured from high-speed steel. The 135° P3 split point is self-centering, which reduces thrust and allows for easier penetration, while sizes smaller than .0625" do not have a split point. For sizes 3/16" and larger, there are three flats on the shanks to ensure tighter chucking. The black and gold oxide surface finish enhances wear resistance and adds lubricity, which improves chip flow, making it suitable for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and cast iron. The kit is made in the USA and comes in a pack of 12 with a 30-day warranty.
