This heavy-duty construction drill bit kit is designed for drilling in tougher materials and is manufactured from high-speed steel. The bits feature a 135° P3 split point that is self-centering, which reduces thrust and facilitates easier penetration; however, sizes smaller than .0625" do not have a split point. Additionally, sizes 3/16" and larger come with three flats on the shanks for improved chucking stability. The black and gold oxide surface finish enhances wear resistance and adds lubricity, which improves chip flow. This kit is suitable for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and cast iron. It is made in the USA and comes in a pack of 12, backed by a 30-day warranty.
