It features a 135° P3 split point that is self-centering, which reduces thrust and allows for easier penetration; note that sizes smaller than .0625" do not have a split point. The kit includes three flats on the shanks for sizes 3/16" and larger, ensuring tighter chucking. The black and gold oxide surface finish increases wear resistance and enhances lubricity, improving chip flow.
