The kit features heavy-duty construction designed for drilling in tougher materials, manufactured from high-speed steel. It includes a 135° P3 split point, which is self-centering for reduced thrust and easier penetration, although sizes smaller than .0625" do not feature a split point. The kit comes equipped with a 3/8" reduced shank to fit certain chucks and includes three flats on the shanks for sizes 3/16" and larger, allowing for tighter chucking. Additionally, the black and gold oxide surface finish increases wear resistance and enhances lubricity, improving chip flow. This drill kit is suitable for use on stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and cast iron. It is made in the USA and comes in a pack of 6, along with a 30-day warranty.
