It includes a 135° P3 split point that is self-centering, which reduces thrust and allows for easier penetration. Note that sizes smaller than .0625" do not have a split point. The drill bits are coated with TiN (Titanium Nitride) to enhance lubricity and hardness, improving chip flow, finish hole quality, and extending drill life.
