It features a 135° P3 split point that is self-centering, which reduces thrust and facilitates easier penetration; however, sizes smaller than .0625" do not have a split point. The TiN (titanium nitride) coating enhances lubricity and hardness, improving chip flow, finish hole quality, and overall drill life.
