The heavy-duty construction of this drill kit is designed for drilling in tougher materials, manufactured from premium high-speed steel for enhanced performance. It features a 135° P3 split point that is self-centering, which reduces thrust and allows for easier penetration; however, sizes smaller than .0625" do not have a split point. The TiN (Titanium Nitride) coating provides additional lubricity and hardness, improving chip flow, finish hole quality, and extending drill life. This kit is suitable for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and cast iron. The product is made in the USA and comes in a pack of 12 with a 30-day warranty.
