The heavy-duty construction of this drill kit is designed for drilling in tough, high-tensile, and work-hardened materials under extreme operating conditions. Manufactured from premium cobalt high-speed steel, it boasts increased hot hardness and extended drill wear life. The 135° P3 split point is self-centering, which reduces thrust and allows for easier penetration; however, sizes smaller than .0625" do not feature a split point. The metric sizes are produced to DIN 338 OAL and flute length specifications. A straw finish provides lubricity and aids in the identification of cobalt drills. This kit is suitable for drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel, and titanium. It is made in the USA and comes in a pack of 12, with a 30-day warranty.
