The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ radial bristle brush measures 8" x 1" x 1 1/4" and features a ceramic 80 grit abrasive grain blended with aluminum oxide, molded into flexible bristles that provide more surface contact than wire brushes while maintaining abrasive properties throughout the brush's life. The brush effectively removes paint, stains, adhesives, weld burns, rust, heavy oxides, and surface contaminants using light pressure, with flexible bristles that remain securely in place under normal use. Designed to last longer than wire and other abrasive discs, it works efficiently on aluminum, brass, bronze, carbon steel, cast iron, stainless steel, and other metals. Its applications span general industrial, aerospace, automotive, metalworking, transportation, and fine detailing for electronics, jewelry, and woodworking industries. The ceramic abrasive grain, a ceramic mineral manufactured through proprietary processes to enhance toughness and hardness, combined with aluminum oxide, creates one of the hardest and longest-lasting minerals for moderate to heavy stock removal, fast cutting, and handling intense heat and stress.
