The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ EXL Deburring Wheel measures 8" x 1/2" x 3" and features aluminum oxide 8A medium abrasive mineral for high cut-rate and long life. This wheel delivers a clean surface without smearing, reducing additional cleanup and preparation. Its convolute construction and uniform wear provide smooth operation and minimize operator fatigue. The Scotch-Brite material runs cool, offers uniform wear, and continuously exposes fresh abrasives, making it ideal for heat-sensitive substrates. Available with silicon carbide or aluminum oxide abrasives, the silicon carbide option is sharper and suited for low-pressure tasks like paint preparation and finishing, while aluminum oxide offers greater durability. Scotch-Brite™ products incorporate abrasives into non-woven nylon fibers, creating an abrasive system that ensures consistent results over the product's life. The open-web material resists loading and prevents clogging, maintaining high cutting performance.
