The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ EXL Unitized Wheel measures 1" x 1" x 3/16" and features aluminum oxide abrasive in a medium 6A grade, designed for use on a die grinder to provide a clean edge without smearing and reduce cleanup and preparation. This wheel incorporates abrasive minerals embedded in non-woven nylon fibers, forming a load-resistant open-web material that limits clogging and maintains high cutting performance while minimizing heat buildup, making it suitable for heat-sensitive materials. It is available in multiple abrasive mineral options and grades, including aluminum oxide in fine, medium, coarse, and extra coarse, and silicon carbide in very fine and fine grades. The wheel is ideal for applications such as blending and deburring, serving industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
