The 3M™ 61500083300 Scotch-Brite™ EXL unitized wheel measures 8" x 1/2" x 1/2" and features silicon carbide in a 2S fin configuration, making it suitable for applications such as blending and deburring across various industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines. This unitized wheel is designed for optimal performance on a die grinder, minimizing heat buildup during operation and making it ideal for heat-sensitive materials. Filled with abrasive minerals, the wheel effectively smooths edges of metal, plastic, and composites, and is available with aluminum oxide in fine, medium, coarse, and extra coarse grades, as well as silicon carbide in very fine and fine grades. Scotch-Brite™ is distinguished by its unique surface conditioning product that incorporates abrasives into non-woven nylon fibers, creating an abrasive system that ensures consistent results throughout the product's lifespan.
