The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ EXL unitized wheel measures 3" x 1/4" x 3/8" and features aluminum oxide 8A medium abrasive. This unitized wheel is designed for use on a die grinder, providing a clean edge without smearing and minimizing heat buildup during operation, which makes it suitable for heat sensitive materials. The wheel incorporates abrasive minerals embedded in non-woven nylon fibers, combining abrasives with fibers to deliver consistent performance throughout its life. The open-web, load-resistant material reduces clogging and maintains high cutting efficiency. The Scotch-Brite™ EXL wheel is available in aluminum oxide grades including fine, medium, coarse, and extra coarse, as well as silicon carbide in very fine and fine grades.
