The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Strip Disc measures 6" in diameter with a 7/8" arbor hole and features extra-coarse (XCS) silicon carbide mineral embedded in an open nylon web. Designed for high-production environments, this abrasive disc offers good load resistance and consistent cutting action, making it ideal for applications generating substantial debris such as coating and corrosion removal, paint stripping, rust removal, and sealant removal. The silicon carbide mineral provides sharp cutting and leaves a bright finish, breaking down faster than aluminum oxide while maintaining a finer finish. The disc’s open nylon webbing allows debris to escape, reducing loading, prolonging service life, and continuously revealing fresh mineral for ongoing sharpness and consistent finishes. It is compatible with a standard attachment system, allowing connection to a backstand, right angle grinder, or die grinder. This product is suitable for industries including aerospace, general industrial, metalworking, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO). Warranty terms applicable to 3M abrasives apply.
