The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ High Strength Disc measures 8" x 1/2" and features aluminum oxide abrasives with an A VFN grade. Its conformability allows it to work effectively on irregular surfaces and in tight areas without damaging the base material, making it suitable for individual use or stacking on a straight shaft tool or bench motor to condition larger areas such as bar grates, louvers, vents, and tracks. The disc is made from Scotch-Brite™ unique surface conditioning material, which incorporates abrasives into non-woven nylon fibers, creating an abrasive system that delivers consistent performance throughout the product's life. The open-web material is load resistant and reduces clogging, maintaining high cutting performance. The disc is used for cleaning, coating removal, contour finishing, deburring, finishing, and weld cleaning across industries including aerospace, general industrial, metalworking, maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), transportation, and heavy equipment.
