The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ High Strength Disc measures 8" in diameter with a 1/2" thickness and features aluminum oxide abrasive in a medium grade. Its conformability allows it to work effectively on irregular surfaces and into tight areas without damaging the base material. The disc can be used individually or stacked on a straight shaft tool or bench motor for conditioning larger areas such as bar grates, louvers, vents, and tracks. Constructed from abrasives incorporated into non-woven nylon fibers, this open-web material is load resistant and reduces clogging, maintaining high cutting performance throughout the product's life. Typical applications include cleaning, coating removal, contour finishing, deburring, finishing, and weld cleaning. This product is suitable for industries including aerospace, general industrial, metalworking, MRO, transportation, and heavy equipment. Warranty terms apply as per 3M standards.
