Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are designed and engineered for use in HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose installations where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are ideal. These premium efficiency ODP motors are available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125 and feature IP23 degree of protection along with a double vacuum pressure impregnation process for winding insulation. The motors have a variety of specifications including 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM options, and operate on 208-230/460 volt, 60 Hz or 190/380 volt, 50 Hz power supply. Constructed with rolled steel frames for 1/2-50 HP and cast iron frames for 60-100 HP, they also include a rigid base (56C-face with removable base), Class F insulation, and a Class B temperature rise. Additionally, they are inverter duty with a 10:1 CT / 20:1 VT (1.0 SF) rating, and the inverter grade magnet wire meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards. The motors feature pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frame and larger to accept Inpro current diverter rings, ensuring a simple and easy installation. They also possess double drilled feet for mounting flexibility (143T-404T) and the 254T and larger models are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
