Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are designed and engineered for use in HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose installations where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are ideal. These premium efficiency ODP motors are available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125 and feature an IP23 degree of protection along with a double vacuum pressure impregnation process for winding insulation. Key specifications include 1/2-125 HP, 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM, with voltage options of 208-230/460 volt at 60 Hz and 190/380 volt at 50 Hz. The enclosure is open drip proof, with a rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP. The motors have a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications) and Class F insulation, along with a rigid base (56C-face with removable base). Additional features include premium efficiency, Class B temperature rise, inverter duty capabilities (10:1 CT / 20:1 VT with 1.0 SF), inverter grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards, and pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frame and up for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings. The exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation insulation system and double drilled feet for mounting flexibility (143T-404T) make these motors versatile, while 254T and larger frames are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
