Worldwide Electric's Open Drip Proof (ODP) motors are meticulously designed for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose applications where non-enclosed motors operate efficiently in cooler conditions. These premium efficiency ODP motors come in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125 HP and are available in 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM options, supporting voltage specifications of 208-230/460 Volt at 60 Hz and 190/380 Volt at 50 Hz. The motors feature an Open Drip Proof enclosure, with rolled steel frames for 1/2-50 HP and cast iron frames for 60-100 HP, providing IP23 protection and a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications). They utilize Class F insulation and include a rigid base (56C-face with removable base) for enhanced stability. The motors are inverter duty rated with a 10:1 continuous torque ratio and 20:1 voltage tolerance, and they incorporate inverter grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards. The exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation insulation system ensures durability, while pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frames and above allow for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings without additional machining. They also feature double drilled feet to enhance mounting flexibility and accommodate F1 to F2 conversion for 254T and larger sizes. These motors are backed by a standard warranty.
