Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are engineered for use in HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose installations where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are ideal. These premium efficiency ODP motors are available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125 and feature IP23 degree of protection and a double vacuum pressure impregnation process for winding insulation. The motors operate at speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM and are designed for 208-230/460 Volt, 60 Hz, as well as 190/380 Volt, 50 Hz electrical systems. They come with an open drip proof enclosure and a rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP. These motors have a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications) and Class F insulation, ensuring a Class B temperature rise. Additionally, they are inverter duty with a 10:1 constant torque (CT) and 20:1 variable torque (VT) rating at 1.0 SF. The inverter grade magnet wire used meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards. The motors feature pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frame and up to accept Inpro current diverter rings for simple installation, exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation insulation system, and double drilled feet for mounting flexibility on frames 143T-404T. Models 254T and larger are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
