Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are meticulously designed for applications in HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and various general purpose installations where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are essential. These premium efficiency ODP motors are available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125 and operate at speeds of 3600, 1800, or 1200 RPM. They are compatible with voltages of 208-230/460 volts at 60 Hz and 190/380 volts at 50 Hz. Featuring an open drip proof enclosure, rolled steel frames for 1/2-50 HP, and cast iron frames for 60-100 HP, these motors provide IP23 protection with a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications). The Class F insulation and rigid base (56C-face with removable base) enhance durability, while the premium efficiency and Class B temperature rise ensure optimal performance. Additionally, the motors are inverter duty rated with a 10:1 CT / 20:1 VT capability (1.0 SF) and utilize inverter grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards. Installation is simplified with pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on the 143T frame and up, designed to accept Inpro current diverter rings without the need for machining. The exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system and double drilled feet provide versatility in mounting (143T-404T), and units sized 254T and larger are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
