Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are engineered for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose installations where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are preferred. Available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125, these premium efficiency ODP motors feature IP23 degree of protection and a double vacuum pressure impregnation process for winding insulation. Key specifications include 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM options, operating voltages of 208-230/460 Volt at 60 Hz and 190/380 Volt at 50 Hz. The motors come in an open drip proof enclosure with a rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP. They have a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications) and Class F insulation, with a Class B temperature rise. Designed for inverter duty with a 10:1 continuous torque (CT) and 20:1 voltage transfer (VT) at 1.0 SF, they incorporate inverter grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 part 31 standards. Installation is facilitated by pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frame and larger for Inpro current diverter rings, and the motors are equipped with double drilled feet for mounting flexibility (143T-404T). Additionally, the 254T and larger models are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
