Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are engineered for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose applications where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are preferred. They are available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125 HP, with speeds of 3600, 1800, or 1200 RPM, and input voltages of 208-230/460 volts at 60 Hz or 190/380 volts at 50 Hz. These motors feature an Open Drip Proof enclosure, with a rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP, along with IP23 protection. They come with a 1.15 service factor (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications), Class F insulation, and a rigid base (56C-face with removable base). Designed for premium efficiency, they achieve Class B temperature rise and are inverter duty rated with a 10:1 constant torque and 20:1 variable torque (1.0 SF). Additionally, they use inverter grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 specifications and include pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frame and larger for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings without machining. The motors utilize an exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system and have double drilled feet for mounting flexibility on sizes 143T-404T. The 254T and larger models are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
