Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are designed for use in HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose installations where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are ideal. These premium efficiency ODP motors are available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125 and feature an IP23 degree of protection along with a double vacuum pressure impregnation process for winding insulation. Key specifications include 1/2-125 HP ratings at 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM, voltage options of 208-230/460 Volt at 60 Hz and 190/380 Volt at 50 Hz. The motors come with open drip proof (ODP) enclosures, a rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP, and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP. They provide 1.15 service factor (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications) and feature Class F insulation with a rigid base (56C-face with removable base). The motors also offer a premium efficiency Class B temperature rise, inverter duty 10:1 CT / 20:1 VT (1.0 SF), and inverter grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards. Additionally, they come with pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on the 143T frame and larger for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings, an exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system, and double drilled feet for mounting flexibility (143T-404T). Models 254T and larger are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
