Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are designed and engineered for use in HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose installations where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are ideal. These premium efficiency ODP motors are available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125 HP, with speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM. They operate at voltages of 208-230/460 volts at 60 Hz and 190/380 volts at 50 Hz. Featuring an open drip proof enclosure, rolled steel frames for 1/2-50 HP, and cast iron frames for 60-100 HP, these motors are built with IP23 protection and have a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications). They utilize Class F insulation, have a rigid base with a removable base on 56C-face models, and are designed for premium efficiency with a Class B temperature rise. Additionally, these motors are inverter duty with a 10:1 CT / 20:1 VT at 1.0 SF, equipped with inverter grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 part 31 standards. They come with pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frame and up for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings, and feature an exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system. The double drilled feet provide mounting flexibility for 143T-404T, and models 254T and larger are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
